1. Casablanca – Rabat: the capital in one hour
About 90 km, just over an hour by motorway. Perfect for a day trip: the Kasbah of the Udayas and its blue-and-white lanes, the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the seafront. The round trip is easy to do in a day.

2. Casablanca – El Jadida and Oualidia: the ocean escape
About 100 km to El Jadida, then another 75 km to Oualidia. Visit the Portuguese city of El Jadida and its famous cistern, then follow the coast to the Oualidia lagoon, known for its oysters and calm beaches. Ideal for a family weekend.

3. Casablanca – Marrakech: the red city
About 240 km, close to 3 hours by motorway. Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the souks, the Majorelle Garden and the palaces… Marrakech deserves at least two or three days. With a car, you can also head to the Ourika Valley or the first Atlas villages.

4. Casablanca – Fes: the imperial city

5. Casablanca – Essaouira: the pearl of the Atlantic
About 350 km, allow 4 to 5 hours depending on the route. You can follow the coast via El Jadida and Safi, or go through Marrakech to combine both cities. Essaouira charms with its fortified medina, fishing port, ramparts and laid-back atmosphere.
